Doggy Christmas Cake

Whilst we all prepare to eat our way through the silly season, it's important our doggies get to enjoy a festive treat too!

Ingredients 

• Plain Flour - 340g
• Baking Soda - 1 1/4 teaspoon 
• Softened Butter - 75 grams
• Vegetable Oil - 60mls 
• Egg - 2 
• Carrots (shredded) - 1 cup
• Carob Chips - 115 grams

Method

1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C. Prepare an 8 inch baking tin, line with baking paper to grease with butter and flour. 
2. Combine all dry ingredients together in one bowl.
3. In a separate bowl cream together butter, oil and eggs. Stir in carrots and carob chips.
4. Combine dry and wet ingredients together. 
5. Pour batter into prepared baking tin and place in oven. Bake for around 35 minutes or until cooked through. 
6. Place on a cooling rack and allow to fully cool through before cutting a slice for your pooch or icing.
   Cake can be iced with plain, no added sugar yogurt or cream cheese.
